SSB part of CQWW is over. Well what to say. It was a good strategy to integrate young operators to the team and gave them a chance to operate during the biggest SSB contest in a year. And they run as a professionals. Most of the contest was operated by Adam OM2ADM (19y) Mia OM4AIM (YL 19y) and Bruno OM1BAT (16y). Technical support was done by home operators. We had fantastic cabbage soup prepared by Joe OM4MW before the contest and had a nice time with other operators: Leszek SP9LJD, Martin OM4MM, Miro OM5RW, Lubo OM5ZW and Steve OM7KW.
We broke our club record as well as national OM record helded by OM8A team but probably will not be enought after UBN. This year we spent a lot of time on antennas and in the field and that was reflected in a result. First time more than 8K QSO’s in M/S from OM. We are satisfied with the result but without you it would be impossible oms. Big thanks to you for the QSO’s and looking forward to you in CW part.
